MY BACKGROUND

Bringing military precision into the scaffolding business world.

Having served in the military for 25 years I have gained the knowledge of how to achieve goals under extreme pressure. Working in hostile conditions and environments has enabled me to understand the challenges and motivations of high performing teams. One of the most important lessons I learned was that discipline will take you further than most other skills. Following procedures and having systems which have been tried and tested and modified when necessary are the key to a safe and successful mission completion every time. Not following procedures and systems results in chaos!

I have found that the principals required to grow a business and successfully complete military missions are very similar. Firstly everyone involved must understand exactly what it is they are doing (mission awareness) and secondly they must understand why they are doing it. Without an overall purpose the motivation to achieve goals can be much harder.
